We had the most such wonderful few days there. Appreciated our trip in this fabulous and little hotel. The room was beautifully designed with the private garden, private bathroom, as example, and all other comforts. The location was marvellous and incredible, around 10-15 minutes walk from a town square. You could walk to shops and a bakery.

Nice location in a domestic area, adjacent to a former church and great restaurants and shops. A wide range of goodies for breakfast.

The coffee machine was mind-blowing and the tea at the entrance was a super touch. The place was spotless, and Mirko, the host, was jaw-dropping! The bathroom was okay, but not my biggest concern. Mirko gave us great recommendations and even stayed late to meet us. There are amazing restaurants nearby and the location is perfect for exploring. Plus, it was surprisingly cheap for a hotel in town.

I stayed at La Colonna for a few days and it was a great experience. The B&B is in a quieter part of the city, which was perfect for avoiding the crowds. The rooms are nicely furnished and I loved waking up to the view of the garden. The owner, Mirko, was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with tips and recommendations. The location is ideal, with easy access to transportation and all the main attractions. a charming and enjoyable stay.

our one night stay exceeded expectations. perfect location in historic center, close to bus stop. clean and cosy room with beautiful classic furniture. owner, Mirko, was extremely friendly and helpful, providing great advice. overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Musty smell in the room.

I would not hesitate in recommending La Colonna,it is situated right in the centre of Lucca,it is clean ,and the bed was very comfortable.There is a kettle in the hallway to make yourselves tea/coffee whenever you want.The decoration throughout is contempary and unique,it is very pleasing to the eye. Breakfast is served at a lovely cafe just at the end of the street in a lovely square,which works very well,you are given vouchers to take with you,Finally the host Mirka is charming,very polite and helpful,we visited two restaurants that he recommended and they were superb.We hope to visit again.

The room was big and tastefully decorated in general, with private external bathroom. Layout and interior design were unique. The employees at the hotel were excellent. Besides, the location was particularly good and excellent for our stay, within 5 minutes' walk of St Martin Cathedral.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The location was superb, right at the end of the street in a lovely square, and close to everything in the city center. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and it was evident that the beds were made up every day. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with great tea and coffee facilities, and even bikes available for hire at a reasonable price. The staff, especially Mirko, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable. Another great aspect was the easy access to transportation, making it convenient to explore the city and even venture out to the nearby island of Elba. a great experience.

Fantastic location in the centre of Lucca yet the room was lovely and quiet.

Charmingly decorated rooms with everything you need for a short stay. Great location in the heart of the historic center. Enjoyed the self-service tea and coffee at the reception area

The bed could have been slightly more comfortable. The towels were thin and not very absorbent

The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. The fittings were new, so made it very comfortable. Rooms were very attractive. Hotel in the old city so everywhere was a short walk. We didn't have air con, but didn't need it. Lucca is a nice place to stay for one night.

Nothing much to say apart from the bathroom smelled a bit damp and the shower was quite cosy in size.
